Hi there,

I'm test the new alpha release 6 of Bodhilinux

a- some errors:

1- eepDater stop and give an input field to put the choice on grub file to save (1,2, etc as default)

but I could write in the field if I click the execute button the value is not pass.

I need to stop the update and quit.

2 - the fonts don't render perfectly, but I have to check the configuration.

3- in the partition part of the installation I couldn't manage the partitions on the disk (lvm) i finish to use all the disk to continue the installation.

b- good things

1- the installation is ok in my 64bit system.

2- I install some apps and everything goes ok.

keep testing :)

thanks for the new version....

fede

A big thank you to everyone who contributes to Bodhi Linux

Some first solution:

I update with apt-get and my fonts troubles (point 2 of my first post) dissapear.

Only the watch render a BIG ugly font in the desktop now....

look at the setting but no way.

keep testing :)

bye

3- in the partition part of the installation I couldn't manage the partitions on the disk (lvm) i finish to use all the disk to continue the installation.

Isn't that Ubun Ubiquity installer lacking lvm support?

I also would like to report the devs these two rather smallish issues:

1. Application's Help entry points to a vanished content:

2. ePhoto *Settings* gives this error (crash)

I just realized Bodhi does use less power on my netbook than already super efficient Arch... geez <3

That help menu is not related to Bodhi. It must have been pulled in along with a Gnome or KDE application you installed.

Jeff both happen on Bodhi 4alpha2 live (updated via apt update && upgrade).

Odd. Must have a stray package pulling it in. Probably network manager related. Will look into it.
