Are you sure you have good wifi drivers installed? I had a usb wifi dongle that was utter crap without the right drivers installed.

Does it cut of while beeing used?

It could go into standby when not beeing used, wakup might not work correctly.

i was wondering if it was going to sleep. i'll be browsing fine and then i click on a link and nothing happens then get error page, no internet connection. i then try to disconnect the existing wifi connection and it says it is not turned on even though it says networking and wireleness are turned on. and then when i try to turn these on i get a nother error...frustrating. it's a new problem and the only significant issue remaining.

Does the connection cut out mid use or while the system is idle?
