I have a problem very much like the one described here:

http://forums.bodhil...op-left-corner/

I have two apps set up as startup apps (Skype and Dropbox), and there is no problem at all once the system boots. That is, until I use an app that requires or uses a systray icon (and apparently, it doesn't matter whether is closed or open source, because it happened both with Synkron and Teamviewer) and either a) Everything is messed up, with systray icons changing their respective order or b ) one of the icons being sent to the upper left corner (as described in the topic cited above)

Any clues on what is the source of this behavior?

I have the most recent install of Bodhi, AppPack 3.2.1...

A big thank you to everyone who contributes to Bodhi Linux

What is your Moksha profile like? Have you changed any of the shelf settings that the systray is located on? Does restarting Moksha get the icon into the right spot?

Yes, I can confirm this behavior here with Goldendict application. I can look at the systray code but I must be able simulate this. I actually do not know when it happens...

I'm guessing it's the default one that came with Bodhi (fresh install), but I'm not sure (where can I check this?). I haven't change any of the shelf settings, and restarting Moshka does get the icon back on the taskbar, but not quite on the right spot that it was...

And only startup applications are outside the system tray?

Only the ones on startup are being sent to the upper left corner...

Huh. Moksha must be launching startup applications before the systray is loaded on the desktop so their icons don't know where to go. Will have to look into it when time permits - for now just restart moksha.
