A few things that I would loved to have seen were Deadbeef (a lightweight music player), Jumanji (lightweight web browser), urxvt (lightweight terminal), and Surf (another lightweight web browser). They are all awesome lightweight apps that I think everyone can enjoy.

I have some more suggestions for other apps I did not see in the repos. While there is already a pretty broad selection of web browsers, I figured a couple more couldn't hurt and might provide other users with a bit more variety. There is also a mail client I would like to suggest, as well as a few other apps. These apps are (with their corresponding web links):
1. GNU Icecat- http://www.gnu.org/software/gnuzilla/
2. Iceweasel- http://www.geticeweasel.org/
3. Icedove- http://packages.debi...eywords=icedove
4. Viewnior- http://xsisqox.githu...nior/about.html
5. MuPDF- http://ccxvii.net/mupdf/
6. Zathura- http://zathura.pwmt.org/
7. Lilyterm- http://lilyterm.luna...w/index_en.html

And it would be nice to include some applications written explicitly for or with Enlightenment. For example, intone (written for) or netbook-launcher-efl (written with). Over the long span, this is a necessity - in the moment it is impossible to install any of these applications, since they try to install Ubuntu dependencies, which are already present in Bodhi.
Enlightenment core apps and modules are a total must. It is impossible to install editje, for example, not even compiling it (because you forgot to put the dev packages in the repo). When I have a look into packages.enlightenment.com, I see many packages I can't install through the Bodhi repos. Another (dirty) option would be to name the system packages in Bodhi the same way the enlightenment repo calls its packages, while making sure that apt-pinning prefers Bodhi packages, and adding the official repos. For example, I'd like to try the 'envision' package - a pdf reader. I use evince now, but why would I need to load additional gnome libraries if I can do it inside enlightenment?

By the way Jeff, I wouldn't mind giving you a hand with some of the apps I suggested, provided you can refer me to any guides and other necessary information for packaging software. I don't know how to package, but I certainly wouldn't mind learning, especially if it means being able to package for the Bodhi repos!

Also, any chance that Bodhi would use wicd instead of NetworkManager by default?

I have been looking for a good e17 distro. Bodhi looks great! Keep it up!

Also - you can very easily change Enlightenment themes via the GUI. No CLI needed.

xfe is in the ubuntu repos but broken. It won't save settings/preferences. See here:

Debian and other distros I've used it on work fine.
Currently for bodhi I manually install two libraries from debian to get it working properly:
libfox-1.6-0_1.6.37-1+b1_i386.deb, and libjpeg62_6b1-1_i386.deb.
Sources:

Light weight and functional. Isn't that the theme?
