Qupzilla has been updated.

Hope to get nvidia closed source driver nvidia-current updated, my laptop's graphic card can not work normally with 290.10, but it performs well with 295.20.

oops I should have mentioned at post 400 that your current alsa is about one year old

http://packages.bodh...ain/a/alsa-lib/

and in a different request support post Rohit looks like he needs 1.0.25 alsa but I am not sure it will solve his issues but
me thinks it will be nicer for all to have the latest alsa.

sorry if you are already thinking of doing it but offtopic I don't think I can help Rohit any further.

Aus6 -

Do you know of anyone that has been able to backport this Alsa version already? Last time I brought back 1.0.24 the audio packages where in ruins for weeks while I got all the issues sorted. Not really wanting to go through that again. It is far too much work for a gain almost no one will notice.

Any chance of updating Wammu? The version in the repositories is 0.32 and will not run with the 3.xx kernel, the latest version is 0.36 and has been fixed. There is both Debian and Ubuntu .debs for download here

Maybe you could update xneur it is a package for keyboard layout displaying in sys-tray plus lots of other related tools, newest version has improved a lot compered to one which is in our repository.
I have installed it from ppa, I know it is something you do not like :D but the one in Bodhi repository is old

Quote

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:andrew-crew-kuznetsov/xneur-stable
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install xneur

Is the new version of VLC going to be added to the bodhi repository?

Yep. Expect new package builds this weekend. Will take a look at the others listed above then as well.

I just realized that Peazip is missing from the repos.

There are several versions for debian based distros, including gtk2 and qt4 versions.

I got the gtk2 versions for 64 and 32bit.

Debs:

Ok here is an optional plugin for Peazip. It's used to extract the nonfree .ACE format.

Check the test repo section of the forums. There are a whole slew of issues with VLC 2.0 sources on the Bodhi base. These packages are in the test repo - but unless someone else takes the initiative to fix them I don't think I will personally have time to get them resolved till after this school semester is done.

At which point Bodhi 2.0.0 will be about ready, meaning it will have VLC 2.0 from the Ubuntu repos anyways.

tl/dr VLC 2.0 is stuck in the test repo for now
