I've just installed Bodhi 4 on a 32-bit computer, and when I ran my word processor I discovered it does not have the MSCore fonts (Times New Roman etc). I checked in /usr/share/fonts/truetype, and the msttcorefonts folder is empty. However, the installer for these fonts (ttf-mscorefonts-installer) is on my system.

These fonts are present on my 64-bit Bodhi installation, so I overcame the problem by the simple expedient of copying the fonts from the /usr/share/fonts/truetype/msttcorefonts folder on my 64-bit computer  to the same folder on my 32-bit computer, and now they show up on my word processor in the latter and everything's fine.

A big thank you to everyone who contributes to Bodhi Linux

i found that mscorefonts does not appear in gimp or krita.  i thought that was weird. does so in libreoffice.

went to make some or edit some wine labels and could not get the mscorefonts to appear. so my text is rather sktchy without redoing all texts.

Thanks for the report. Will put this on my TODO list for the 4.1.0 disc fix.
