Bodhi for the Pi?

Hello Community,

 

Just wondering if any thought has gone in to making a Bodhi build for the Raspberry Pi or other embedded devices - with it's slim design, it seems like this would give in naturally to the nature of the Pi (other than running on ARM architecture).  

 

Anyway, just wondering - an old off-topic on alternative Linux distros in use other than Bodhi *gasp* made me think of my Pi.

We supported ARM devices once upon a time. The tl/dr is:

Supporting a single ARM device is more work than producing all of the desktop release ISO images that we have. So basically unless someone wants to sponsor me to work on Bodhi it isn't going to happen ever again.

I sort of figured this was the case...I just wasn't sure how much code would need to be changed (I don't know Linux nearly to that extent).

 

I appreciate the response - maybe someday you will get a sponsored gig :)
