Thank you Charles, the left click menu is corrupt I guess, it does not have 'settings' tab. Neverthless the Win + Space key worked for me. Thank you once again. Go to the full post

I accidently deleted my only shelf which was at the bottom of the screen. On right clicking the desktop there is no option to create a new shelf. In fact there is no menu icon for 'settings'.

Is there a command to launch the graphical settings panel or any other alternative to get a new shelf.

A big thank you to everyone who contributes to Bodhi Linux

A simple Left-Click on the screen will bring up the main menu with the Settings.

You could also use WIN + Space to open the quick launcher. Type shelv and the window will show the direct access to the shelves setting dialog. Just hit Enter when the option is highlighted.

The new shelf is empty of course. The content has to be added by you.

Enjoy,

Charles

I remembered seeing another person having a similar problem.

Hmm, that brings back the shelf alright, but it also destroys all modifications the user made to his desktop. You will return to the default desktop Bodhi comes with.

Enjoy,

Charles
