Welcome! We would like a "virosi" in Bodhi  And we can tell people he's from Barcelona, and he's happily using our distro!

Unsolicited advice for learning linux, that won't cost you anything

Thanks everybody!

Yes all OK. I only had a little issue at the second pass in the installation program: I put on the checkbox  -> "download updates while installing"  and kept waiting for a few minutes. Thought it might be a problem with my HD.

Finally I reset the installation without updates and in a few seconds pass and can continue with the installation.

Yes, I had the same issue on install, but it's Ubuntu's installer, so we don't maintain it.

-- In case others have similar questions and stumble across this --

Simply quit out of installation, restart the installer, and proceeded without updates or third party software.

Then it goes on fine, just update everything when you boot into the newly installed OS.
