Is there a software for replace Simple Scan for scanning documents, please ?

 

i have searched but nothing to find..

Maybe this will work for you.

 

When you want to do a test ride with it use

sudo apt-get install --no-install-recommends xsane

to avoid getting gimp, cups and more pulled in.

IF you have an HP All-In-One, installing the linux drivers for it will probably install xsane.

The acquire option in GIMP can scan a photograph once your device is hooked up. For that matter it can scan a document and save as PDF. But if Simple Scan can do it, why  not?

Thanks, yes it's for my second computer, actually i am with linux mint xfce and there is simple scan and with bodhi linux, i have not find for replace simple scan.

 

I go installed soon bodhi linux 64 bytes on this second computer :)

 

i have installed bodhi linux 32 bytes on my netbook hp mini since several days now and i am satisfed, many thanks for your help :)

If Simple Scan is in the Ubuntu repos, I can't imagine you wouldn't be able to install it either via the CLI (Command Line Interface aka terminal) or via Synaptic.
