Need a lighter theme

Best Answer michmanbiker, 22 July 2017 - 01:11 PM

Thanks to all, I don't seem to have a TDK control in my menu. Do I have to install it?

Michel

NB: I found it. It is the theme tab.

Hello, just installed Bodhi and I tried to install a theme that was a bit lighter, whiter, less dark? I am using the forum theme, but it is still too dark for me, also the wiki talks about adjusting gtk but that option is not available in my menu.

Thanks,

Michel

Hello

Maybe Radiance theme would be brighter for you (sudo apt-get install bodhi-theme-moksha-radiance). Also there is a Sunshine theme but it is not ported yet to new Bodhi Linux EFL. That theme has got left windows controls, which can be annoying for some users.

GTK theme is easy to set. Menu-settings-setting_ panel-look_ tab-application theme-GTK tab

Enjoy and welcome here,

i use the moksha radiance theme with the deterious application theme theme.  the defaukt dark is too dark for me.  I used to use the black dark themes and like the look but for serious work trying to read the text in white is tough for my eyes.  Black is my favorite color; but no longer for my daily work space.
