Bodhi 4.2 hangs at screen unlock

I believe one suggestion you may get from the experienced people will be to make sure your system is up to date. Especially, efl.

 

Edit: Since sef liked this post, I will have to guess he believes I am on to something.

 

When updating, I prefer to use the command line.

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

Charles has posted some CLI-foo that lets you check the efl version

Hi everyone,

 

Have an annoying little problem - searched the logs and can't really find a specific error. Sometimes (not all the time, maybe every 4th or 5th attempt) when I enter my password to unlock my computer it just hangs there and won't come back - I can "ctl alt f1" and get to the command line and restart the computer, I can restart lightdm bringing  back the login screen.
