Is there a way to know which Bodhi Linux version is on a installed system? That is, how could I know if a computer has installed Bodhi Linux 4.0, 4.1 or 4.2 and so on...

A big thank you to everyone who contributes to Bodhi Linux

On my machine (4.2.0 Legacy)

MainMenu > AboutOperatingSystem > About Bodhi Linux

shows a little window with the version# top-right

Should be there for all versions.

Enjoy,

Charles

Thanks Señor Charles!

I wonder if there is a command line way to have the Bodhi version number (I'm thinking in using it in a script, so a text output would be needed...)

 De nada Señor :)

Afaik the command

lsb_release -d

only produces "Bodhi Linux" but no version#

No doubt Jeff knows where he stored the info you need so you could make a script looking after that.

Enjoy,

Charles
