Relatively new Linux user from upstate NY here. :)  Basically been bred on Windows since Windows 98, but the latest versions are annoying me with bugs and stuff, so I started playing around with Linux more regularly until I finally decided to go and install it.  Started with Mint and Cinnamon--works great for my powerhouse laptop with 8gb of RAM and a core i7 processor, but a little too resource hungry on my less powerful Lenovo 110s.  Checked out different distros and I like what I saw with Bodhi despite me having to learn some new tricks to make it work.

So far, happy puttering around and enjoying a less intrusive operating system.

A big thank you to everyone who contributes to Bodhi Linux

So far so good!  Computer stayed on all afternoon on battery power.  Granted for about an hour I was asleep, but I never turned the computer off, set the screen to go dark, but not in hibernation mode.  8-ish hours battery life when I could maybe pull six in a similar situation with Mint....well that's a whole day of work there. :)  Rockin' my world so far!
