Hello to everyone reading this. I only have one question since i never figured out myself if its possible. But is it possible to have gifs as a wallpaper with Moksha? Sorry if this is in the wrong area. I generally try to figure out a solution before i post but i couldn't come up with one for this.

A big thank you to everyone who contributes to Bodhi Linux

Hello there

It is a little complicated. I don't think it is possible just set up the gif as the wallpaper. In general, Moksha is not working with graphic objects as they are. Moksha works with compiled EDJ container where pics and scripts are located. If you want animated gif, you should start with EDJ layer theory and create one. Anyway, I will post the link where you can get the E17 animated wallpapers. Download what you like and put the *.edj file to ~/home/.e/e/themes folder. Then go to menu-settings-themes and run the one. But you need to be warned, animated wallpapers take a lot of CPU attention.

Or, You can do it old school. :)

Prepare a folder with cinematic photo sequence, and play it as a slideshow using Variety Wallpaper. You just need to find set_wallpaper script in .config/variety/scripts, copy Enlightenment Script block and paste it next to it,and change the grep name to Moksha. :)

Dont forget to enable Modules/System/DBus Extension and Modules/Systray.

I haven't tried it the Wallch, but this may work in Moksha.
