Hello

I ported detour theme to BL 4.x some months ago. Install it from repository via terminology:

sudo apt-get install bodhi-theme-moksha-detour

Thanks but I already installed and tried that version. Not the same as the "Agust 2.4.0 bodhi modified version". Icons different, wallpaper different/unavailable (where the one on screen-shot was theme default).

Hmm, OK, I will check that version. I can separate the wallpaper from 2.4 theme and post here to set up manually. Just an idea...

That would be fine, could you separate the icon set as well? :)

Thx.

Which icons do you mean? The icon set you can change under Settings_panel-Look-Application theme

BTW:

This is a link where you can download the BL 2.4 theme you wish.

http://packages.bodh...e17-detourious/

If you don't succeed with installing, try to extract deb package and copy A-detour-Bodhi.edj to /home/.e/e/themes. It should work fine, although some themes were not fully compatible with later EFL stuff. You will see...

Thanks I'll give this a try :)

<Edit>

It installed just fine, look is good, some functionality is missing (e.g. click on shelf does not bring up shelf menu, need to click on gadgets & choose shelf instead) but that I can live with. Gadget Icons are as I want them but all others (menu etc) seem to default to Faenza, original in 2.4.0 is "ReMix". No matter, I'll live with this as well.

Thanks for the time and effort you put in to help me.

Glad it works for you...

If you need the right click on the shelf func, just let me know. It is not as hard to fix it. But need some explanation :)

PS: I actually do not know why the current and old detour themes are different. I like the old theme wallpaper more...

I can't recall if the current version has an added animation: a layer of that wall slowly glides into your desktop--the sun and its rays slowly slide on top of the solid hue. But it's only an eye candy thing, and only happens at first appearance of your e desktop. If you haven't seen it, that's fine, as long as you get the wallpaper to show, instead of having no background

Unsolicited advice for learning linux, that won't cost you anything
