Hello people, I installed Bodhi 4.3.1 Legacy just a week ago and I'm trying to continue some projects I was making in wndows in Linux.

In particular I want to know if I can use the R software together with RStudio, just like in Windows. I did not dind R in the Bodhi App Center.

Hope your advices can help me.

Mariano.

A big thank you to everyone who contributes to Bodhi Linux

Not sure about the studio package off hand - but the r package can be found in the Ubuntu repos that you have access to by default on Bodhi:

sudo apt-get install r-base

You can install synaptic from the app center if you want a GUI for searching all the packages in the Ubuntu repos. The Bodhi app center has the goal of being a "precise" application list for common application uses and is not exhaustive for this reason.

Thanks Jeff.

Finally I took the easiest option, downloading the installer from the RStudio website. Double clicked on it and job finished.
