Anyone else seeing the following issue on older E17 themes (such as Gant, Cthulian, Milky's, etc):



Does the theme file itself need to be updated or is there some setting fix that can correct the thin titlebar?

Uffff!!!!! bit by bit.....
Look here greatquux , old theme milky , idea by Isabelle with theme Imago nad NOW called A-Bodhi-Dark-Night" .
Fully updated and many more things.

great - Old E themes need to be manually updated. We recommend only using theme from the Bodhi Art page if you want to be sure they will work properly.

If however, you do just want to change the ‘Title Bar’ you can do so by opening Settings/Theme, then click advanced........from there click ‘Border’ and whatever themes border you wish to use. Then click ‘Assign’, that way you can mix and match various elements of themes. Older themes can have other problems anyway though.

Thanks for the update Agust - i know you do a lot of great theme work. I had seen a thread here back in May about Duma's Gant GTK theme (http://e17-stuff.org...?content=141335) and the e17 theme for Gant was working back then, so there must have been some EFL changes since then. I've never done anything with these themes in my life but I know what edje_decc is so i'll see if I can suss out by comparing the titlebar section to another theme.

A little workaround if you want to use GANT theme:

Set the pixel size of "Title Border" with 10 pixel in your font settings.
Settings -> All -> Look -> Fonts -> Advanced

For Gant is not perfect, but you can read something with 12 pixel
