I have had this problem for a long time and have always just put up with it. When I close the lid of my laptop and open it back up the display never reactivates. I have been able to band-aid the issue in the past by making it so that the screen does not turn off when the lid is closed but I can not seem to find that option in enlightenment. I would like to fix the problem once and for all and honestly have no idea how to do so. This happens in every desktop environment for every distro except openbox (for whatever reason). Any help would be appreciated

Search for "hardware switches" in the everything wizard and select "lid close" and move it from "suspend" to screen->dim.

Perfect! Worked like a charm. Thank you VERY much. Still learning E17..... Can't believe I didn't find that when it was in the menu.
