Please note before proceeding this is a pre-release ISO. Things may be unstable and it is not recommended for production systems. It has the testing repository enabled by default.

Our next point release is under-way. This is the first pre-release ISO. You can find the ISO image and it's MD5sum here - http://downloads.bod...m/jeff91/Discs/

Please do not post about issues unless you have verified your MD5Sum is correct (if you not sure how to do this I'd advise against using this testing ISO image).

That being said, as this is a minor release the main thing that needs testing is all things Enlightenment related. Play around, load modules, add gadgets, change profiles etc. - try things that all worked in past releases, let us know if that changes here.

Known Issue

The desktop profile will current segfault if selected due to a permission fudge up on my part - this will be fixed before the final release obviously. In the mean time you can correct this by running:

sudo chmod -R 777 /usr/share/enlightenment/data/config

before selecting the desktop profile.

Also worth mentioning is our installer slides have gotten a much needed make over. Please scan through the text they now contain for typographical errors and let us know if you find any.
