I hope someone can help. I've just done a clean install of Bhodi V1.3.0, but now everytime I restart or shutdown, I get an error message saying: DBus error; please make sure DBus is installed or running. What do I do to fix this. I did not have this on V1.2.0.
Thanks!

Possible to snap a picture of the error message? I'm not able to reproduce this on my systems here.

I can not provide screen-shot, or say that I have same problem, but every time I shut-down or reboot I also get an error, but can not see what it says, because my system shut-downs then. I only see and window in centre of screen, with red image on left side of it.

The message is: "Error during dBus-init!". But for me, the culprit is: notification module. If I unload this module, shutdown/reboot is okay: no longer that error message! (despite the error message of gkrellm... <_< ).
I think, the error means there is already a dBus-demon running (it seems to be "org.freedesktop.DBus"). With the notification-module unloaded, the command "dbus-monitor" (in terminal) still gives a reply. So look if the enlightenment-notification-module is running and unload it. Reboot and see if there is any dBus-error.

Ahh - thats an extra module. I'll drop a note to the module author about the issue, but no promises. There is a reason we don't use it by default :)

I can not say that unloading module, which I like much is a solution...
maybe there is some way to hide that error? (it can exist, but just not show)

yes, me too got that error on bodhi 2.1.0

disabling notfications doesn't mean the bug is sdolved...maybe we shall wait for a newer version of dbus? Seem it is a bug of the current one, let's cross our fingers for another update!

Jeff, please may you drop some lines to dbus developer(s) to do something about? SORRY If I ask...
