Glad you enjoyed it. Its one of my favorite moves that nobody seems to have heard of. My wife loved it as well.

+infinity on Limitless. Aeonius turned me on to this film and I LOVE it.

For a real mindfsck of a movie, try The Prestige.

The Prestige was very, very good. I second that recommendation.

I found Moon quite ok, flashbacks of HAL & Dave from 2001 ;)

Yes! Moon is an awesome flick!

Here's a film I thoroughly enjoyed: The Man From Earth

I really wanted to like that movie, but I just couldn't bring myself to it.

Now, moving right on....how about Cameron Diaz then?

Cameron Diaz, you say? IMO one of the hottest chicks to ever walk the planet. Right up there with Farrah. But...

Vanilla Sky is an excellent film (though the original is actually better, and oddly enough has Penélope Cruz (an even hotter chick) playing the same role in both films.

Charlie's Angels, on the other hand, sucks giant donkeys (though she's still nice to look at)

See how that works? ;)

Ok, 2 more mindfsck movies:

Memento

Primer

(I didn't link them because you want to watch them "cold")

And the ultimate mindfsck movie (ultimate because it's not a "movie" but a sort of documentary):

Dear Zachary

(again, don't look it up, just watch it)

What about last man on earth vincent price? The first proper zombie/vampire movie. Where there isnt yet a proper distinction between zombies and vampires. Pretty much what i am legend is based on with the fresh prince of bell end!

I added all three to my Netflix queue.

I'd say right now my favorite movies are The Green Mile, RENT, V For Vendetta and Hotel Rwanda. All worth a look.

Please please please tell me how you find Dear Zachary. IMO it's not possible to have a non-emotional reaction to it.

Watch it with your girlfriend.

I really don't want to give away too much of this film, but I do have to say:

just when you think it can;t possibly get any worse ... it does.

Food, Inc., if you like documentaries... will make you think twice about eating the food when you travel to the US. Born into Brothels is another very good documentary. :)

So I finished watching Dear Zachary and was very moved. Very well done. He really gets you involved in the story and very quickly you feel like you know Andrew. Then Zachary. Its hard to find a documentary like that.

I then had my wife watch it and she cried. A lot. She felt the same way I did.

Its a very well made documentary that I think everybody should watch at some point. Definitely received a 5 out of 5 ranking.

EDIT silentdrgn: I edited out the spoiler you had in your message. Hope you don't mind.

I really like movies about the nature of reality, philosophical, etc.. But really all movies, love comedy too.

"The Fountain" is one of my fav's, highly recommend it! Another I recently watched was called "The Tree of Life" by Terence Mallick. Some people didn't like it, but I loved the slow pace and powerful impact it offered.

And on a possibly totally different note, Merry Poppins was on TV the other day and I caught the end. Wow, what a fascinating movie to watch from an adult perspective now. I used to watch it loads as a kid. B)

I think we should make a Bodhi Linux movie. :D

I love this film too! Regrettably, many of the people I've recommended it to hated it. I don't understand it.

I'm putting Tree of Life on my list.

Came across Revolution OS while looking up the Free Software Song, haven't seen it yet but I noticed it's on Netflix - probably deserves a mention even if many of you have seen it..
