Hey there Bodhirovskies!
I just started working on my first EFL application: MangaMate.
It is a desktop/tablet manga reader for Bodhi Linux. I figured it is a relatively simple first app. Grab the web page, parse it, fetch and display the image. Beyond that it is just managing trees of sites/titles/subscriptions.
There is nothing running yet, but I have environment set up, and a cuke/use case started.

Please update when you're ready. I'm eager to know how ruby binding for efl would look like

Will do. I'll let you know when I have something usable and runnable. It shan't be long, since it's super easy to do rapid application development in Ruby --it's focused on programmer productivity!

Hendra,
The creator of the bindings has a hello world sample on his main page:
https://github.com/jeremyz/ffi-efl
If you gem install ffi-efl and follow my solution in the other thread you can run it in Bodhi.

I know about the example. I mean I want to see how it turns out in real software, because most gui library has it's own way to annoy programmers
