Hi,
I was browsing the Appcenter just now.
I noticed that beside each category of software (e.g Office Suite, Webcam, Photo Manager, etc) there is a number in brackets. I thought this was the number of applications available in that category. If so, then it's wrong for practically all of them.

For example, Communication (13) has 7 apps in it. Games (28) has 16 apps, and so on.

I noticed it with the e widgets... hadn't noticed it in other categories.

Honestly, I figured it was just a bug that was being worked on, but that getting the re-launch of the app center off the ground was more important. :)

The numbers are the result of me adding pages and bod files for ARM. Applications are essentially being counted twice if there is also an ARM version. I am aware of this and looking into a fix is on my todo list, it just seemed less important than building all the ARM bod files and creating appcenter pages for them.

Yes that is so. I need to get with Jose and see how much progess he has made on the new version of the appcenter as well as see what we can do about the various weirdnesses resulting from adding ARM packages.

Hi,
Didn't know a new appcenter was due. Agreed it's not important, just mentioned it in case it was missed.
