One question. When 2.0 is released, how exactly are we going to have to install it? Is there a need to wipe everything so we can make a clean install? Because that would mean that every single custom stuff I've done with my bodhi so far would be gone...

Split this to it's own post as it was 100% off topic for where it was.

Whew I feel like I am answering this question 100 times a day - Yes Bodhi 2.0.0 will require a reinstall - no there should not be any issue copying over user data from 1.x.y release.

Maybe this calls for a FAQ regarding 2.0, there are several questions people seem to keep asking.

This one, how long 1.4 will be maintained, requesting software, release dates, etc.

That sounds like a good idea - I'm adding that to my Monday morning TODO list.

If I were to install the alpha build of 2.0 would I just need to update my laptop when the official release is available or reinstall?

You should be able to just update via the package manager - there might be a few small things you'd have to manually change though.

Thanks again for all the hard work!

I have had 2.0 alpha running for a day now....very nice... no real glitches yet

VERY FAST compared to previous releases....Why is this??
