Hey guys, I'm just discovering my new love for reddit and therefore thought about getting a nice feedreader on linux. I have Like a million feeds by now I'd like to be reading and am looking for a nice viewer to show them to me. It would be cool if it looked really stylish and could show pictures as well. And I'd also like the possibility of using "meta-feeds", meaning: I have to possibility of merging two feeds together and having them displayed as one. I'd be glad for any recommendations. Otherwise: What reader do you use? And why?

I actually deliberately use the websites in question, in order to minimize the number of feeds I need to follow. I find that Twitter is pretty good in that respect... and many of the blog feeds you actually want to read have a corresponding twitter feed.

That being said, any good RSS reader should be able to do what you're asking for.

I've used Evolution-rss, the plugin written for the email client Evolution and now I'm using news module. I like it because it's matched with E17:
It could be on a shelf or on the desktop and you can manage your feed, check the shot!
