Hello fellow forumers! you'll see from the heading my 4500 seems a great machine, quick, effecient printer and good value, BUT, it keeps sending me error messages, Paper jam / incompatable cartridge, caretridge misalligned etc etc adnauseum, but it prints fine ! I cannot stop it sending messages, one after the other, until I lose patience and go and swith it off, it's a week old, the cartridges are the ones that came with it, and it installed without a hitch. How can I stop these rougue error messages, and why, does it say "ink level information not available" ? another small irritation. can anyone help, ps I'm an old guy, so, plain speak please ! thanks

Can I ask what version of Bodhi you are running and on what type of device? I ask because you are posting in our ARM/mobile support section.

Try run this command on terminal maybe can soolve any error on your config process by graphic install->
With root privileges->

#hp-setup -a

Did you install hplip and hplip-gui ?
