I have never had the HDMI audio working in Bodhi. When I saw the beta I figured I would install the beta and give it a whirl. No such luck. So my question is, before I go changing any settings, which guide should I start with that is appropriate to the Bodhi 2.0 beta?
If any one wants to throw their hat in the ring with a quick fix I can try, Here is some info.
I am up to date on all patches.
My system is vanilla, other than a couple of basic apps from the repo.
This could be as simple as 'apt-get install hdmi-audio' or some other easy fix. I just want to make sure before I start messing.
The output from hardinfo id attached. I am connected to a 42" LCD, which audo works with Ubuntu Live DVD.
TIA
Attachment didn't upload. Post request, as I don't want to flood the post with something that lengthy.

1.x aswell as 2.0 just lack the tool to select the audio output device. the wiki page i created a while ago shows how to select a soundcard by modifying the .asoundrc config file. it does however lack specific instructions for hdmi (will ad that someday).
with the search terms hdmi and asoundrc you will find the correct syntax for that config very fast i bet, it is already in this forum under quick self fix aswell as request support.
