I've just put an LXDM update into the testing repo - I know it works because I am setting up the 2.1.0 discs with it - can folks let me know if the upgrade to it goes smoothly?

Got this warning:
Setting up lxdm (20120910) ...

Configuration file `/etc/lxdm/lxdm.conf'
==> Modified (by you or by a script) since installation.
==> Package distributor has shipped an updated version.
What would you like to do about it ? Your options are:
    Y or I : install the package maintainer's version
    N or O : keep your currently-installed version
D : show the differences between the versions
Z : start a shell to examine the situation
The default action is to keep your current version.
*** lxdm.conf (Y/I/N/O/D/Z) [default=N] ?
Installing new version of config file /etc/lxdm/Xsession ...
update-alternatives: warning: forcing reinstallation of alternative /etc/lxdm/lxdm.conf because link group lxdm.conf is broken.
update-alternatives: warning: not replacing /etc/lxdm/default.conf with a link.

Going to reboot now.

It works as expected with the surprise of usr/bin/lxdm-config. That is really kool, I made a desktop file for it.

I had no problems with the update except the same error message Charles got below. That doesn't appear to be the result of the update, bodhi has the same issue with update-alternatives and lxdm on a default install of 2.0.1.

I got the same warning and it leaves update-alternatives in a slightly broken state.:(

For example run:

sudo update-alternatives --config lxdm.conf

and you will see it gives the same error.

Fortunately if you care the fix is easy:

sudo update-alternatives --force --config lxdm.conf
