I noted shortly after I finished uploading everything this evening that I neglected to unmute the needed channel to make noise come out of the speakers on the Chromebook by default (I also need to dig around to see where are the config files that alsamixer stores it's settings in).

Anyone - to make noise happen on your smartbook in terminal run:

sudo apt-get install alsa-utils
alsamixer

Then use your right arrow key to find the channels that include "DAC1" and when they are selected tap your "m" key to unmute them. Also fair warning I saw some threads about people blowing out the speakers on their chrome books when they crank it all the way up - so I wouldn't do that if I where you

Install the package and run the command I list in the first post.

Then look for the channels with "DAC1" in their name (should be one for right/left side) and unmute them.

OK I found the exact commands you can run instead of hunting for random channels:

amixer sset "Right Speaker Mixer Right DAC1" unmute
amixer sset "Left Speaker Mixer Left DAC1" unmute

Should get your audio working.

Wipe out your existing Bodhi file system and reinstall again - our latest image has audio working by default.

i went once again through Thema Installation process Hand IT installed Version 20130129

unfortunately now ifconfig Shows no wireless Service and i cant connect Tor wifi...

Some people have had issues with wireless on Bodhi if their Chromebook is using the beta channels for Chrome OS.

That image works fine on my Chromebook that comes stock from Google with no edits other than enabling developer mode.

Okay. Perhaps it was wrong to run the HFG6a - install skript a second time, because i had bodhi installed before?
but i didnt ask me for the partition size this time so i think this was okay?
