I have been 'playing' with linux for quite a while, and had all but decided to migrate away from Ubuntu because I felt that aside from a server, it was getting really bloated. After installing pcbsd on this machine from an old downloaded iso, I decided that I was bored with it. It was off to Distrowatch. At the time that I was there Bodhi was right at the top. I read the description, and remembered trying to play with enlightenment several years ago in my first linux installation.
I rapidly learned that it is sometimes better to get your feet wet a little bit before simply diving in.
I must say that you guys are doing a fantastic job here.
I am running on a t43 Thinkpad with 2 gb of ram, and I am also considering installing on another machine that is currently running crunchbang.
The installation was simple, the dialogue is straight forward with the exception of the occasional ubuntu in the windows.
The ability to choose and change your environment appearance is pretty simple once you figure out where it is located, but within the forums is an excellent guide to help new users become familiar with enlightenment.
I am looking forward to watching as this progresses, and hope to learn enough along the way to be of assistance to others as they come this way.
Thanks Again!
