Chromium: can't move to other virtual desktop

26 February 2017 - 02:00 PM

For some reason, I've lost the ability to move a Chromium window to a different virtual desktop.  If I right-click the title bar for something like synaptic, those options appear, but I don't see the same thing with Chromium, regardless of whether "Use system title bar and borders" is checked. Possibly related: the appearance or not of the system title bar and borders appears to be the opposite of that setting; the borders appear when it's unchecked.

Suggestions?  Thanks.

Run Everything: restore icons?

15 February 2017 - 12:34 PM

I forgot my laptop with battery issues was unplugged, so it had an uncontrolled shut down when the minimal battery charge died. Was mostly idle at the time. Rebooted with power, but now most of the Run Everything icons have swapped to something that looks like a terminal prompt (white $> on black background).

Any easy way to "kick" Run Everything to restore the usual icons?

Re-connecting data partition on new installation?

30 October 2016 - 12:56 PM

As (IIRC) Jeff once suggested in a blog post and Charles thoroughly explained in this forum thread, setting up a data paritition is an excellent way to simplifying re-installing Bodhi (or having multiple distros share a data store).  With the release of Bodhi 4.0, I'm wondering: is there an easy way to capture the links to the data partition, or even create a script that can be run after the re-install (and future re-installs, assume Jeff continues to keep us up to date over LTS releases)?
