So, have had Bodhi running on a new Sager laptop for a couple of months now. It is also running my wife's laptop. Pretty pleased all around. Seems solid enough and e* is... Updated 10 Jan · 0 comments

About Me

Linux user since 1994. Have used a number of different flavors along the way. Have always like E, which is what drew me to Bodhi in the first place...and am very pleased! Have had Bodhi loaded for a week now and have everything working that I really wanted working. Have not managed to get sound through the HDMI port to the monitor yet, but then it is not that important to me. I dual boot with Ubuntu 13.10(at the time of this posting) and have not even been tempted to boot back to it.

Otherwise, I have worked in automation of one sort or another most of my career. I also own/manage a small farm in SW Wisconsin which keeps me grounded and pulls me out of the digital world on occasion. I enjoy writing Perl code and doing a bit of HTML5/CSS3/javascript recently. In particular, I am interested in data visualization. Apps like Freemind/Freeplane and Zotero are interesting to me. Simile Exhibit is also a favorite tool to develop with. Have begun to get into just a bit of D3.js recently as well.

I look forward to seeing this flavor of Linux develop and move forward. It really is a work of art as well as an effective/efficient interface experience. Linux and E ... having cake and eating it too!
