(reason found)libreoffice-draw(3.6.4.3) can not correctly render pdf file
01 February 2013 - 07:36 AM
If I am not mistaken,Libreoffice-draw can edit "hybid" pdf file, this morning I had a pdf file which need to be edited, when I tried to use libreoffice-draw to open this pdf file which is wirtten in English, a dialogue popped up telling me something about fonts problem, when I force it to open the pdf file by closing this dialogue,it showed unrecognizable characters. But when I using libreoffice-draw in my windowsXP OS to open the same pdf file, everything is OK.
The software version I installed in windowsXP is the same compared to that in Bodhi, both of them are libreoffice 3.6.4.3(build ID: 2ef5aff).
Finally I added http://ppa.launchpad...fice-3-6/ubuntu precise main to my sources.list, after removing all the currently installed libreoffice packages and updating and re-installing libreoffice, everything returned to normal, the problem was temporarily solved.
But I know using too many PPAs is not good, so I want to know if anybody else has the same problem.
