virtual desktops disappeared
29 April 2013 - 10:48 AM
I set up my virtual desktops but they disappeared. Whe I try to make sure they are loaded they seem to be still loaded as only the unload option is available but they are not visible on Desktop. I just did an install of 2.3 but this problem also occurred in 2.2 I just lived without the virtual desktops for a while, but I would really like to have them.
Also my date has disappeared and weather module has been unavailable for a while but I suspect the weather module is being worked on.
Any help appreciated.

[SOLVED] Evolution Crashing consistently
09 March 2013 - 12:44 AM
SOLVED!!............. sudo apt-get upgrade.... there some bugs in enlightenment that were fixed quickly
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________
I installed 2.2 to try to fix this crashing problem whch started with 2.1 yesterday, but it is still crashing badly. Has anyone else experienced Evolution crashing, becoming completely unresponsive? Any suggestions?
Eventually I get an error that says Enlightenment has experienced a "really bad problem" and has to restart
I use Evolution to sync with my phone (contacts, calendar, memos, so switching to Thunderbird won't really help me.

Entering data problematic
11 February 2013 - 10:05 AM
When I try to enter data by placing my cursor in the appropriate box and start typing the data is ignored and I need to try a second time placing the cursor and entering the data. The second try usually works. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a solution? It has become worse after 2.2 and is quite frustrating.

font size how to change in windows
06 November 2012 - 10:34 AM
I would REALLY like to change the font size in the windows so I am not squinting so much. I tried the gnome tweak solution for Ubuntu but it didn't work.
I know how to change font size in Firefox (CTL +) but would really like to change this so that it always automatically increases text size when started up.
Any suggestions for these old failing eyes? (not that bloody old, by the way!)
Thanks

ipod alternative
05 October 2012 - 11:07 AM
A friend (a newbie) allowed me to install Bodhi on her laptop after a Windows tekno-drama. Then she went and bought an iPod which she discovered is not compatible. She can return it and is asking me now if there are some Cowon products thast work easily with Bodhi / Ubuntu. Can anyone pass on their experience briefly with Cowon MP3 players?
Thanks
sean
