    Click / Touchpadklick not work

No, can't help you, but test first a OVER-INSTALL over your "old" Bodhi-Linux [not the Partition formating]. Maybe then your installed Apps are continuous function and too [again] the Mouse-Click. Greetings from STRUPPI
  4. Hi Elw3, it is possible that I do misunderstand the Question. Is the first partition Ubuntu with his own Grub, then the PC can not found the Vector to boot Bodhi, if Ubuntu deleted. So SuperGrub is needet, if the PC not booting [Grub-Error as example]. Moving the partition with GParted can cost very much time. I work with this 2 ways [moving or/and copy] on my PC. Greetings from Germany, STRUPPI
  5. This is possible, but I think, for a "beginner" to strong. Normaly you can move via Live-Bodhi the Bodhi-OS with a special comand, then you must boot with SuperGrub in your new Bodhi, open there the Terminal and in the Terminal sudo grub-install /dev/sda sudo grub-mkconfig -o/boot/grub/grub.cfg The new Grub-Install is not every Time needet. But you must have SuperGrub, this can rescue you, if your Linux can not fount your OS/Grub.... http://www.supergrubdisk.org/ But the easy way is a new Bodhi-Instalation.... Greetings from STRUPPI

    Bodhi won't load from disc.

Have you tested the 32Bit NON-PAE-Bodhi 2.4 ? If this OK, then the 32Bit Bodhi [standart with PAE, if you can work with PAE] On My NVIDIA-64Bit-Machine was the first step with the NON-PAE Bodhi 2.4 the only function way and after this first installing with all Update I have Upgradet to PAE [i have more as 4 MB RAM, but with 32Bit !]. How do you use your Bodhi?

I using Bodhi so as it is. Not for gaming, only for 'working'. But much Apps can realy true and fine working only under MS-Win. All time is running DVB-TV, now mostly DVB-T. Gambling is for me 'testing a new Linux-OS'. But in moment I have no time for this 'play Linux'. I need SPS-Simulations, E-CAD, E-Calculation, MRS Developers Studio and a Editor [like notepad++] + PDF-Reader [like SumatraPDF] + I-Browser with a fine 'Print to PDF'- and 'Print as Picture'-Function. For Publications the MS-Office-Package [have a Print Studio here]. Adobe Packages I have too, but is to big for me and is not jet installed. This Parts are running best under MS-Win. E-Cad is running in Wine [CrossOver] under Linux too, but only so very well. Backup is ACRONIS Backup for Linux. Maked a Linux-Partition-Backup in seconds including verifying. Well, that's is....

    Duplicate icons

I have not installed Bodhi 2, only testet in a VM, wait for the final version. So I can not realy help. Have you testet to delete only one of this dobble Icon? Maybe the Icon of the right side as first [the second]. I believe, in the first time of Bodhi 1.4 [or was this 1.3??, I do not remember me correct] was this the same on my PC, but is to long ago and was a result of a wrong binding from me self. To delet this dobble Network-Icon [and this was with function] was not so easy. Only one Network-Icon was the Master, the second only a copy from the first, but entert and written in a, for me, unknow script. Was hard to solved this and now I have forgotten, what is to do.

    My First Tattoo

I have now over 35 years on my breast [now under my breast hair] a self made big Kung Fu Logo with the Praying Mantis. The Kung Fu Logo is 'Black-White', the Praying Mantis was green full colored with red fulled eyes, but after after 15 Years was going of first the color from the red eyes, and later the green color from the Praying Mantis, so I have now only the Kung Fu Logo with the Praying Mantis in Black-White. Was self made with 3 binding needles and a mirror. Well, this tattoo is me, I will not missing this tattoo.

    bootup splash screen

Yes, it is possible to boot only with TEXT-SCREEN-Messages. This is a part of Grub-instruction [No splash, Text only] for boot and shutdown. The 'TEXT-ONLY' is fantastic, if you like control your booting-sequence [long time ago this was standart on my System] with all the messages.

    swap gone

Hi Rohit, I do much not understand right and so please write for me again, what you need... If you like again your sda8 is your swap, you must only edit your fstab. Control please again with blkid, what are your partitions... In terminal: sudo blkid [i know, you know this way] In a second terminal enter please: gksudo leafpad /etc/fstab Change there the Line: # swap was on /dev/sda6 during installation UUID=26fa6bf2-bbc3-4e76-bae5-4da0dd3902df none swap sw 0 0 to # swap is on /dev/sda8 LABEL=swap none swap sw 0 0 so that finaly your fstab have following entrys # /etc/fstab: static file system information. # # Use 'blkid -o value -s UUID' to print the universally unique identifier # for a device; this may be used with UUID= as a more robust way to name # devices that works even if disks are added and removed. See fstab(5). # # <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass> proc /proc proc nodev, noexec, nosuid 0 0 # / was on /dev/sda1 during installation UUID=096dcdcb-175d-4bb1-ae04-3504112ce076 / ext4 errors=remount-ro 0 1 # swap is on /dev/sda8 LABEL=swap none swap sw 0 0 If you wish that your sda6 is your swap and you like to work with UUID, change the Line # swap was on /dev/sda6 during installation UUID=26fa6bf2-bbc3-4e76-bae5-4da0dd3902df none swap sw 0 0 to # swap was on /dev/sda6 during installation UUID=07e6aa8f-ec87-48e5-8383-05c7b0f5f988 none swap sw 0 0 Save this, close the editor and reboot After the Reboot make as control a free -m
