    Kernel Panic

Yeah, it was some kind of issue with grub/partitions. Eventually after enough reinstalls, I let Bodhi decide how to divide the partitions and such (which I had let it do on previous failed installs) and it worked. Finally up and running.

    Kernel Panic

So I just built a computer, which made me feel like a badass, but then I tried installing bodhi 3.0.0 on it, and I've been having some issues. Right now I go through grub and try to run Bodhi, and i get this message: Kernel Panic - not syncing: No init found, try passing init= option to kernel. I have no idea what to do with this. I tried reinstalling, but I have no ideas beyond that. And anything I look up is a little bit beyond me.

    Installer partitioning issues?

I was dual booting my computer with Windows 7 and a previous version of Bodhi (not sure which). I decided I needed a fresh install for Windows, so I did a factory reinstall which shouldn't have (and didn't) change the partitions. However, when I boot my computer, it goes straight into windows and does not appear to have any option to boot into the Bodhi Linux partition. I was hoping a fresh install of Bodhi would fix this, but it didn't seem to. I thought maybe deleting the Bodhi partition first might help, but the newest version's installer doesn't seem to have that functionality :/ and now I have accidentally created an extra little partition that I can't seem to get rid of without completely wiping all of the partitions. Any help? It's the 64-bit version if that makes a difference.
  4. Exactly what the title says. I'm new to Bodhi (and linux in general), and I'm wondering what you guys use and why (the why is always important). I've used Thunderbird on my Windows laptop, and I don't have any problems with it, but I'm just wondering what other options I have and what people's opinions are on them. Thanks.

[SOLVED] New User...where did my new application go?

Thank you. It showed up after my computer had restarted, but now I know for future apps
  6. Hello, I just installed Bodhi, looking to try Linux on my old computer (I've tried it once or twice before, but now I've actually got two computers, so I might as well dedicate one to Linux). I just installed Dropbox, but I can't seem to figure out how to locate it and use it. Any help?
