[Poll] New Theme for E19: what?

I would like a GTK these for E19 with a black background and a colorful nebula something like this https://images.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fts1.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3DHN.607986594439956576%26pid%3D15.1&f=1 http://www.bing.com/images/search?q=black+background+with+green+letters&FORM=HDRSC2#view=detail&id=4CCE6AF7E4B022C819E5A5E775D1A9C9386BC625&selectedIndex=13 lettering would be a medium green without the slime

    Launching eepDater

Have you already try removing eepDater (full removal) and reinstalling?
  5. With the advent of 3.0.0 I have been able to work in Bodhi almost exclusively for the past few weeks with virtually no issues. I had one question, I installed Gufw (fire wall) and it indicated that status was OFF? (I have not changed any settings). I just want to get all setting correct, i only work from home, and my verizon FIOS router has all standard setting (fire wall is set to Typical Security (Medium) Inbound Policy: Reject. Remote Administration settings will override the security inbound policy. Outbound Policy: Accept ) What settings do I want on the linux firewall, right now profile is home, status off, incoming deny, outgoing allow. Thanks for any advise Inbound Policy: Reject. Remote Administration settings will override the security inbound policy. Outbound Policy: Accept

    3.0 ID

Wow, if you are up to date you should not be running any RC1, RC2 or RC3. The current versions are 3.0.0 and are either legacy, 32 Bit, 64 Bit or Chromebook.
  7. I wish I could help more, I did find a recommendation to look in var/log then i guess you have to go through the various logs, assuming your media is good as Jeff suggests.

    [SOLVED] Midori Issues

Are you using a custom theme, custom icons or an application theme? All ok here with the standard theme, icons, etc 3.0.0 32 bit.
  9. Thanks astroboy, I need to replace my Dell D610 soon, and that looks like a good candidate
  10. Jeff, saw your review of the Sager NP2740! Good stuff, I guess I made a good call in light of the fact you also have one. Are you still happy with yours? Mine is running great. Have you loaded 3.0.0 64 bit on your system?

    Edit Window Shade Behavior

In settings - all - windows- windows display - shading- try unchecking animate, or set it to accelerate. Pronounced accelerate may also help. Mine takes around 1 second.

    My machine is majorly sluggish

Agreed , 3.0.0, legacy with that amount of ram, if you can up the ram to 512 (1 GB ideally) it should perform better. Could you run df in terminology the paste the output in your next post (I used default setting this time but I normally allocate 4 GB to swap, 20 GB to the OS and the rest to the home directory with a ~75 GB usable hard drive 7200 RPM). Just curious what file system did you use? (ext4 is default) and is the hard drive at least 5400 RPM?

When I said "stand alone" I meant run it without anything else running. Sorry if I was not clear.
