  1. No hardware raid. 1 540GB m.2 SSD Full uefi (this because I had numerous problems installing Ubuntu (XUbuntu) 16.04 on another ASUS mb in legacy mode. Had to resort to UEFI for grub to install properly. Please note that the 4 TB drive reported by lshw was not present for installation. The only drive present at installation was the 54MB SSD. sudo lshw -sh H/W path Device Class Description ========================================================= system System Product Name (SKU) /0 bus CROSSHAIR VI HERO /0/0 memory 64KiB BIOS /0/30 memory 16GiB System Memory /0/30/0 memory 8GiB DIMM Synchronous 2666 MHz (0. /0/30/1 memory [empty] /0/30/2 memory 8GiB DIMM Synchronous 2666 MHz (0. /0/30/3 memory [empty] /0/32 memory 768KiB L1 cache /0/33 memory 4MiB L2 cache /0/34 memory 16MiB L3 cache /0/35 processor AMD Ryzen 7 1800X Eight-Core Proce /0/100 bridge Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. 2. I fully understand the issue and repercussions, and I don't like to 'strong arm' an installation like this. But, in this case, the only file affected was the color.lua duplication, so no worries. I will pull libefl and all dependencies though. My question is, how did this bug creep in, in a matter of 3-4 days? And, will it be fixed for next time? The reason I am having to used this repository is because the current live Bodhi iso won't install on an Asus ROG Crosshair Vi Hero motherboard with an AMD Ryzen 1800X processor. The install stalls right after asking about downloading updates while installing, where it is examining the installation tartget.
  3. Actually found a solution: sudo apt-get -o Dpkg::Options::="--force-overwrite" install bodhi-desktop As it says, it basically ignores duplicate files. Thanks for the reply.
  4. I was able to install Bodhi on top of XUbuntu 16.04 just last week. However, in trying to duplicate the process today I am getting the following error: dpkg: error processing archive /var/cache/apt/archives/efl_201701261.18.4bodhi1-1_amd64.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite '/usr/share/evas/filters/lua/color.lua', which is also in package libefl-data 1.18.4-0xenial0 So, apparently, both package efl and libefl-data are trying to provide the file /usr/share/evas/filters/lua/color.lua, and this just changed in the last few days. Any ideas on how to solve this issue?

How to change font size in filemanager

One of the things I love about Bodhi is it's nearly infinite configurability. However, I can't seem to find how to change font size inside the filemanager. I am using a 4k monitor and the text beside the directory icons on the left side of the window, the text in the location bar and the filename text are all too small to see. I have been able to change fonts in everything on the desktop except the filemanager. Can someone tell me how to change these?

  7. Well, thanks for the help but I finally gave up after nothing I tried worked. I finally installed Xubuntu 16.04 and the installed Bodhi packages as an alternative desktop at login. Beautiful.
  8. Can't install nvidia drivers until I get Bodhi installed which I can't since the installation app stalls after asking if I want to download updates while installing. I verified the downloaded Bodhi Live .iso. It is valid. Thanks for the replies.
  9. Has anyone done this successfully? If I do alive hi-res boot I get a beautiful hi-res desktop with invisible mouse cursor. Mouse cursor is visible in vga safe mode. When I try to install from either desktop the installation stops after asking about downloading updates and proprietary drivers. Just stops. Not frozen...desktop is still interactive, the installation app just stops. I am using an Nvidia GTX 1070. Help!
