Terminology gains tabs!

After inputting the sudo password in one tab does it apply the permissions to all the tabs, or just that one? That way you're not having to input the password in the other tabs as well.

I would assume it works like every other terminal app available...each window is separate and each attempt to execute a superuser command will require the root password. Anything else would be a huge security risk.

This is correct, each tab is a new shell and sudo permission in one will not carry over to the other shell.
