setting up a development environment

Recommended Posts

I know this topic has been brought up somewhere at some point but what all is needed to do actual development in Bodhi? Application development... E  development etc....?  Not finding the information I need for this... is there a HOWTO on setting one up?

thanks

Bodhi actually has all the headers for EFL related things present by default (I don't break them out into other packages). You also have everything present by default to get start doing python devel with EFL on Bodhi by default. If you prefer to work with C, you will need to install the things you need for any C devel (which I don't know off hand).

I have a series of python tutorials here for getting to know Elementary -> https://github.com/JeffHoogland/elm-tutorials
