Because bulk of my work dependent on Flashgot and ZotRename, and, suddenly the support are gone in Firefox Quantum, I am screwed, and as a student, I am currently in position that can't wait until new Flashgot available.

In that tutorial I found out that Basilisk have an updater internally, so that means extracted version will "grow" without problem.  :)

Do you know of any PPA / debian sources for this one? Packaging something like this myself manually is a bit outside the scope of what I dive into most of the time.

I've removed Midori and use Pale Moon as my only browser. Been looking at Basilisk also... if you want to take it for a spin, just download the tarball and place it somewhere in your home directory. Now, in that directory run

tar -xvf basilisk-latest-linux64.tar.bz2

cd into the newly created directory and run

./basilisk

That's it!
