Printing files into PDF with cups-pdf

Recommended Posts

Hi, guys,

I think most of you already use it but this still could be useful for new users.

This article describes how to install and use cups-pdf application that allows to use a virtual printer to print files into PDF.

Long story short, the only thing needed is to run the following command

sudo apt-get install cups-pdf

Then the virtual printer will be installed and a "PDF" directory will be created in the home directory. All created PDFs will go there.

So far, it works well with Bodhi 4.4.0.

Very useful to save flight itineraries and hotel reservations as well as other files.

Thank you,

Good tip. Moved this to the content section of the forums since it isn't really a support request.

This would probably make an OK wiki page.
